Ezreal Build S8 ADC - Patch 8.17 The Double Tear Update
INTRODUCTION
So after watching the video of Faker who did do this build in Mid lane Double Tear's, I kinda already like it. We never ever see such a build cause it really seems trolling. I don't even feel the actual damage of this build but it is do possible to use it in this patch 8.17 updates. But now, we will make it as more on pure ADC Ezreal build, most of the time Ezreal was always at bot lane. So currently I get building match solo/due queue in much higher winning rate using the new build.
The benefit using this build is that having hybrid AP/AD, together with two tank allied champions, the winning percentage using this build was very high.
Some more point was that, the advantage using Ezreal's Q (Mystic Shot). This is why this champion make him unique. The combination of his E (Arcane Shift) that make all the micro moves. Without further do, let's get to the new Ezreal Build guide to beat again the game.
EZREAL STATS
Attack damage: 50.24 (+3 per level)Attack speed: 0.625 (+2.8% per level)
Armor: 21.88 (+3.5 per level)
Mana: 310.6 (+45 per level)
SUMMONER SPELLS
Flash |
Heal |
FLASH: Is a must-grab on a ADC because you're really squishy and require solid positioning. Although you do already have Arcane Shift to reposition yourself, Flash is still something you must have. It's the BEST summoner in the game.
HEAL: The reason we always take Heal over Barrier is because you are laning with a support. It's much stronger in 2v2 fights since it also heals your teammate, if he/she is within the proximity.
RUNES
Creative tools and rule bending
KLEPTOMANCY
Your first attack after using an ability grants gold and sometimes consumables.
WHY? - Kleptomancy procs exactly like Sheen resulting in Ezreal being one of the biggest abusers of the proc though the use of [Q].
The consistent influx of both Mana and Health potions saves you a lot of money over the course of the game paired with a significant income from the occasional "Sacks of Gold" proc.
MAGICAL FOOTWEAR
You get free boots at 10 min but you cannot buy boots before then. Each takedown you get makes your boots come 30s sooner.
WHY? - Magical Footwear combined with Klepto is designed to skyrocket you ahead in item efficiency for an extremely powerful mid-game.
BISCUIT DELIVERY
Gain a free Biscuit every 3 min, until 12 min. Biscuits restore health and mana. Consuming a Biscuit permanently increases your max mana.
WHY? - Klepto potions plus Biscuits means you shouldn't have to purchase many potions at all with earned gold. The extra bit of maximum mana and mana sustain is also important for dishing out damage.
COSMIC INSIGHT
+5% CDR
+5% Max CDR
+5% Summoner Spell CDR
+5% Item CDR
WHY? - Ezreal probably loves CDR more than any other AD Carry does. CDR means more survivability and way more damage. The slight Summoner cooldown also provides safety in your weak early game.
SORCERY
+13 Attack Damage or +22 Ability Power, Adaptive
MANAFLOW BAND
Periodically your next ability used has its mana or energy cost refunded and restores some of your missing mana or energy.
WHY? - Manaflow band grants massive early game lane sustain when paired with the potions from Klepto. In the later points of the game when you have a stacked tear, Manaflow will refund massive amounts of mana.
GATHERING STORM
Gain increasing amounts of AD or AP, adaptive over the course of the game.
SKILL ORDER
This is the current skill of Ezreal, and as we already know, they will going to do some rework of our champion by this coming November maybe and guess what will it be. As I know, they will change his W (Essence Flux) because no one seems to be like it anyway. But still we don't know so I will keep this site up to date as always on what will it be best of all Ezreal mains. The most effective skill order as of Patch 8.17

PROS & CONS
Pros
+ Extremely fun to play+ Safe pick
+ Strong poke
+ Hybrid damage
+ Very rewarding when mastered
Ezreal has been one of the strongest and safest picks in the botlane for a long time. Mastery of his kit allows him to dominate easier matchups, and stay safe in hard ones by farming from afar Mystic Shot. He is a very versatile marksman with multiple build paths. When ahead it can be really difficult shutting down Ezreal because of his ability to easily reposition himself with Arcane Shift.
Cons
- Hard to master- Needs to stack tear
- Not very useful when behind
- Skillshot reliant
Ezreal is a skillshot reliant champion, which of course makes him hard to master. Your basic attacks will hurt but the majority of the damage comes from your abilities, so missing those will leave you useless in fights. Ezreal is not too good when behind because you do need to rush the the tear of goddess, and then you start building damage pretty slowly, so it's going to be rough in the early game.
CONCLUSION
Well this part, was of course just to have fun with all in playing the game. This build was totally as stated in pros and cons, which is used to be just having funny sometimes but even more better that as we thought about our builds. Main thing is that, we never gonna say not just to win or lose. You may have seen a lot of people suddenly start playing Ezreal with double tear items. This trend originally started in korean high elo, with pro players using this build to cover Ezreals lackluster lategame. It makes Ezreals lategame A LOT stronger because his abilities scale with AD and AP, taking full advantage of the hybrid stats. Remember that your Muramana gives AD + deals additional damage based on your mana.
Now think about the additional 1400 mana you get from Seraph's Embrace. Sounds insane doesn't it? Well that's not all of it. You also get a huge shield for added safety, extra AP that makes your abilities hit even harder, and 25% refund on mana spent. Ezreal is known for falling off in the lategame to crit champions, but with this build he can keep up and stay relevant damage-wise. The downsides to this build is the price, as it's way more expensive than the standard Ezreal build. It also takes more time for him to come online since we have another Tear of the Goddess that needs to be stacked.
My personal experience using this new Ezreal double tear build was really amazing. Using the right time to activate the Seraph's Embrace to serve as a shield will make you save your life for a lot of times.
